Our Founder, Lerato Mautla, is an entrepreneur who graduated in May 2025 and later relocated from Johannesburg to Limpopo.

After experiencing a year of unemployment, Lerato founded Bakwena Fresh Produce with a vision to create sustainable income opportunities for herself and members of the local community.

The company is rooted in empowerment, agriculture, and community development within Limpopo.
